Ljubo Babic (Jastrebarsko, 1890. – Zagreb, 1974.), Croatian painter, art historian, art pedagogoue, illustrator and set designer. Worked as an Avant-garde author for theatre. In 1925, in Paris, he won Grand Prix for his stage design. A year later, in 1926, as a Paris discovery he participated in the International Theatre Exhibition in New York
