Opis
From the Catalogue introduction –
“With the exception of 1916 there has been held in these Galleries each year since the 1910, an exhibition of foreign art. This year works from Serbia (Jugoslavia) are shown. For obvious reasons all the principal Serbian artists are not represented, but, without for the moment counting the photographs, the four artists exhibiting may be considered as typical. Dr. Ćurčin, in the notes on “Ivan Meštrović” just published, says, “The most prominent amongst his (Meštrović’s) artist friends are, the painter, M. Rački ; the sculptor, T. Rosandić ; and the draughtsman, T. Krizman, and during a period of some ten years at the beginning of this century it would be hardly possible to obtain works by all of these distinguished artists…”
